Flawless at Strychnin Gallery

1

Sheer beauty and pure elegance will once again find its way into Strychnin Gallery. After last year’s overwhelming success and countless enthusiastic responses we are now proud to announce that the dolls will be coming back to Berlin.

With works by Marina Bychkova, Elena and Ekaterina Popova, Virginie Ropars, Eric van Straaten, Sakurako Iwanaga as well as Christine Polis and Benoît Polvêche we are thrilled to showcase a great variety of masterpieces of such an extremely elaborate handicraft.

This who’s who of doll makers have spent many month working with the finest, most exquisite materials to transform their visions of flawless beauty into one of a kind artworks.
Besides gaining a lot of interest in the art world, these creations regularly attract the attention of fashion experts. Because many of the involved artists take huge inspiration from fashion, their constant interpretation and incorporation of various styles and trends becomes a two-way street, and blurs the lines between those disciplines.

Opening on May 11th at 7 pm

Best advertisement of fragances

Be exessive by  PACO RABANNE, aggressive and powerful solution that fills a rebellious brand identity

OLD SPICE: The formula that won several awards at almost every festival in the world of advertising:

DAVIDOFF ADVENTURE: The relaxed style of the cosmopolitan man, a lotion for adventurers.

HUGO BOSS: A video that behind its apparent simplicity depends entirely on the brightful charm and freshness of a face: Sienna Miller.

Perhaps the fragrance industry is one of the most glamorous and sophisticated in the world of advertising. From package design to the creation of new flavors formulas. And the most interesting: creativity that will enhance a new brand identity.

R.I.P. Jean ‘Moebius’ Giraud (1938-2012)

It’s with true sadness that we report on the death of Jean "Moebius" Giraud. The legendary French comic book artist, illustrator and conceptual designer passed away this weekend after a long battle with cancer. He was 73. Hailed as a visionary talent for his work on such projects as The Incal, Blueberry, The Airtight Garage, Arzach, Métal Hurlant and much, much more, it is practically impossible to overstate Giraud’s influence on modern comics and science fiction. Better known around the world as Moebius, the master leaves behind a vast body of work that will fuel the imaginations of longtime disciples as well as recent converts for years and years to come.
