International ArtExpo invites you to take part in its two next events:
– HIDDEN ROOMS – IDENTITIES . CITIES . MEMORIES, international festival of video art, experimental dance and performance. The exhibition, under the patronage of the city of Venice, will be held in Venice at Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi, on November 19, 20 and 21, 2014. The event will be part of the festival “Venezia Misteriosa” organized by Ca’ Zanardi and supported by Regione Veneto, Provincia di Belluno, Provincia di Padova, Provincia di Rovigo, Provincia di Treviso, Provincia di Venezia, Provincia di Verona and Provincia di Vicenza.

HYBRID IDENTITIES, international experimental video-art festival which will be held in Almeria (Spain) at MECA Mediterráneo Centro Artístico, on November 22, 2014. One of the videos selected for the show in Almeria, will be projected at Palazzo Ca’ Zanardi on June 2015 during the 56th Venice Biennale of Art.

To take part in the selection, send your works’ submissions with a CV/biography, some still images (for video-art/eperimental films), links of videos/films/performances/dances and pictures via e-mail to [email protected]

The contest is born with the goal of promoting contemporary art, architecture and design through all the divulging tools that the communication platform It’s LIQUID has used for years (press release, mailing list with more than 100.000 subscribers, international contemporary art and design events realization).

Who can apply?

The contest is open to artists, architects and designers from all over the world without any limit of age and nationality. Solo artists, architects and designers can participate to the contest as well as groups.

How much is the entry fee?

There is a 30 euro entry fee to submit up to 3 artworks. The entry fee for every added artwork is 10 euro.

There is not a limit for artworks submissions.

When will the winners be announced?

The names of the winners, will be notified on the official website of the contest through a press release on October 01, 2013.

The exhibition of the 40 finalist works will be held in November 2013 in Rome, Italy, at the ex-GIL spaces. During the final exhibition each finalist artist will vote his or her preferred work in each category and so determine the prize-winners.

As a pre-event of the Sapporo Biennale 2014, Sapporo Pre-Biennale Contemporary Art Exhibition 2011 is holding a International Art-Proposal Competition which includes plans, plan drawings, photographs of maquettes, and sample images. Application period finishes 25th March, 2011

Domestic and international artists and creators are encouraged to submit proposals of art works which could be realized in Sapporo, or throughout Hokkaido.
The project/work proposals (which could be plans, plan drawings, photographs of maquettes, sample images, etc.) that pass a preliminary selection process, will be displayed on the official website of the Sapporo Pre-Biennale Contemporary Art Exhibition 2011 – Approaching Art by Leaving Art Behind – 9 Days the Museum Disappears, during the exhibition period from April 2, 2011 to April 10, 2011.
During this exhibition period, a Grand Prize Proposal will be selected.
This Grand Prize winner will be invited to “Sapporo Biennale 2014” to exhibit/perform the Grand Prize work at the exhibition. (The Grand Prize winner will receive creation/production and travel grants to implement the work [within a budget, to be determined].)
